About us

Our Story

Coeur de cuvée was founded on a simple belief: the most interesting champagnes are made by the people who grow the grapes. Not by the large houses, but by the families who have farmed the same hills for generations.

We travel to Champagne to meet the growers ourselves — to taste in the cellar, to walk the vineyards, and to understand the philosophy behind each cuvée. Only then do we bring a bottle into our collection. Today that collection is eight cuvées from three families in the Vallée de la Marne.

Our Mission

To bring a small, honest selection of grower champagne to Belgium, and to tell you exactly what is in the bottle: who farmed it, where, how long it rested on the lees and how much sugar was added at dosage. No mystique, no invented heritage — just the facts and our own tasting notes.

What makes us different?

Growers only: Every bottle comes from a récoltant-manipulant: the family that farms the vines also makes the wine

Tasted, not just listed: We only sell what we have visited and tasted ourselves

Full transparency: Grape blend, dosage in g/L, time on the lees and serving temperature on every product page

Deliberately small: A short list we can stand behind, rather than a catalogue

Open to everyone: No membership, no invitation, no account needed to order
